Wow, I can't believe you comparing first teams when it's still a month away from the beginning of the season! Three of our major signings haven't even played for us yet, and there will certainly be more to come. Vice versa at Hull I'm sure. If you talking about last season, obviously there was very little between the two sides, hence we beat you at home and you beat us at away, and we both finished next to each other separated by just two points over 46 games! Obviously not much in it, so hardly worth debating. Next season, as AKCJ intimated, is likely to offer more stability, assuming Bruce doesn't do a McClaren and our owners don't get too impatient (I don't believe they will as Nige isn't wasting money hand over fist like Sven did). We were getting close to a complete side last year (people forget that the majority of our team from the season before last was made up largely of loanees) and the players have mostly gotten to know each others games, so it won't be the massive rebuilding job Sven had to endure. Hull will probably bring in some players (I'm sure Bruce would have demanded this when he signed on), and as long as you can keep hold of those you've got - well it could be interesting next year. But let's just see.

Fryatt had a better season then Beckford last season no one is denying that, but that doesnt make Fryatt a better player. Grant Holt had a better season then Fernando Torres. Is Holt better then Torres?
How many minutes did Beckford play? I bet you he got a better goal to minute ratio that Fryatt and Beckford was our 2nd top scorer
Every time I've seen Fryatt take one for us, he's missed - at least 3 of them. Thought Koren wa your penalty taker?
Well really you want at least 1 in 3 starts from a striker, so his nine goals fell just short of his target of 11. Hopefully more starts and goals next term.
Got to echo an earlier comment about Fryatt playing with Steve Howard.I went to Northampton V Leicester in the league anfd there was a stat page for the whold league Most shots in league - Matty Fryatt Most goals in league - Matty Fryatt Most assists in league - Steve Howard Most fouls in league - Steve Howard Most fouled player in the league - Steve Howard. Steve Howard did take it a little bit of time to win over some of the Leicester fans but the stats showed he was a forward that put himself about.
swap torres and holt and i dont think torres would have scored more than holt in that norwich team- think how many goals he scored, and lack of service. That team is built around holt. I do like fryatt a lot... remember when he was injured against palace(/scunthorpe?) and gallagher scored and the whole stadium chanted "dur dur dur dur, matty fryatt...."
