My point was, you dim ****, that if you were going to pick a Leeds defender to use as an example of why Kasper was left exposed at Leeds, it was probably best to not pick one that just played most games in a team that just got promoted to the Premier League. Somewhat weakens your argument, no?
Doesnt weaken my arguement in the slightest. Alex Bruce has since left Leeds and moved to a club with capable defenders managed by his Dad What happened at Leeds 2 years ago has nothing to do with what happened at Hull last year
@JasonBourne1986: Dougie Freedman on Beckford: "There's small bits a pieces to tidy up but we'll hopefully be there in the next couple of days." #LCFC
Back to the origianl point of this thread for a moment. I read somewhere that Beckford is one appearance short of triggering more money owed to Everton due to a clause in his contract. For example, he's on 49 and we would have to cough up another £1m or something if he played another game (figuratively speaking). Therefore this move, should it happen, will save us more money than just his big wages. Anyone else hear that?
I'm sure they didn't just throw the team together on a whim of who was supposed to good. Maybe it had something to do with his good, consistent performances for us, and being an integral part of one of the best defences in the league. But you'll never accept that, you're right, he's awful, not even fit to lace Kenny's boots
Stringer has said before he is just guessing. The theory is if Beckford makes another appearance it will be his 50th for Leicester which could trigger a payment being made to Everton
