This He's never looked interested in a Leicester City shirt. He way well score 20+ goals and fire Bolton to promotion. But you can't really justify keeping him, receiving £1m and getting £30k a week off the wage bill is massive.
I said pretty early on that Beckford wasnt right at Leicester. I knew his days was numbered as soon as Nigel returned The 1M will go towards covering the clubs losses and getting the wage bill down will allow Nigel to use a bit of it to bring in new players I think its important we dont become to cash concious though because if we spend a bit it improves our chances of getting promoted meaning that FFP wont effect us. The more we cut budgets the lower our chances of promotion is. We need to be sensible but also we need to back Nigel
Wow so the most overrated keeper around was in the team of the season, what a surprise. And he isn't "far superior" to Kenny or Ashdown and I could name around 5 keepers who are clearly better than him in this league currently and another 5 or so of the same quality. I don't think he's that great, live with it
Move on. Your defence was **** and it left Kasper exposed We put a decent defence in front of him (In other words Wes Morgan) and Kasper has excelled. Doesnt take a genius does it. A keeper can only do well if the defence in front of him does its job. Its not our fault you had Alex Bruce at the back

Trust you to pick a player who made 32 appearances for a team that just got promoted. On that basis, Stockdale must be worth far more than Kasper.
Alex Bruce is ****. We have seen it, the Leeds fans have seen it and you have. You have been ripping into him for the majority of the season. The only praise you have given him at times was "he isnt as **** as I thought he was"
Bruce is ****, he wouldn't have made as many appearances for you if Hobbs wasn't injured for most of the season. The funny thing is. You know it's true, you're just a ****
Never said we should keep him - his bridges with the manager are well and truly burned ... just making the point that I feel he improves Bolton's prospects and he could be a steal at £1m (wages aside) if he does fire them up.
Other the Andy King I would say Beckford is the best finisher at the club. But there is more to it then finishing If you offered me the choice between Nugent or Beckford I would take Nugent everytime. I would much rather someone like Vardy or Waghorn run around like a headless chicken giving everything they have then someone with more ability like Beckford who simply cant be arsed
Agreed - with one caveat - if a manager could actually get Beckford to 'play' in this division, in a side creating as many chances as we did last season ... then I think that team would be very very close to automatic promotion.
Beckford the best finisher at the club? Give me a break. The guy is useless, we kept telling ourselves he was a good finisher but in reality, he couldn't finish his dinner. Nugent is a better finisher and i've said time and time again that Nuge isn't a goalscorer
Can't agree with you there AKCJ ... I don't like Jermaine Besckford much as a human being, epitomises what for me is wrong in football theses days, limited technical ability, bling obsessed footballers, getting paid extortionate amounts of money whilst not being prepared to put their ego behind a hard work ethic ... but the one thing that the docile mardy-arsed prat can do effectively is stick the ball in the net if you give him the opportunity ..
