Perhaps if we had Defoe on loan in January to see whether he 'fits in' with our play, I really think he could be a gamble in view of his injury record with Toronto and the fact he's been out of the Premier League for over a year. I'd hope we can sign a decent striker and perhaps a second on loan so we aren't short in that department...
