They should put Nina Hartley on them. Or Rosa Parkes, just to annoy the rednecks.

Of course it will carry on as a knockabout gameshow style event, perish the thought serious questions should be asked and answered in Parliament.

Several centuries ago swords would be drawn during debates, oh how I long for those days to return just to make it a bit interesting

Or Linda Lovelace, there's a head that should be on notes, she certainly gave enough head in her time. Although I suspect it would be a decision that a lot of Americans would find hard to swallow, unlike good old Linda

That's what the red lines on the floor of the House are about, evidently. They keep both sides over a sword's length away. Nothing to stop Labour and the Scot Nats doing an Errol Flynn though.

Malcolm Rifkind and Jack Straw both cleared by Parliamentary Select Committee of any wrongdoing in the "cash for questions" sting by C4 Dispatches programme.

I have mixed feelings about this. I remember seeing the programme. On the one hand I cant help thinking this is a corrupt whitewash considering they appeared to have been caught red-handed.

But on the other hand I find Rifkind to be one of the few principled politicians (even though a Tory) and I think it would have destroyed my faith in politicians just that little bit more if he was guilty.

"I don't do personal, I don't do reaction, I don't do abuse. Life is too short and it devalues the political process. I think we should try and enhance the democratic life of this country, not reduce it to that level"

    - Jeremy Corbyn

The opposite of Labour right & Tories so

Someone tried ot call Cameron centre right <laugh> No he's right, just not far EDL right <laugh>

I'm not sure about this bloke tbh and I'm not sure how long he'll last before there's a re-election. It's not the fact that he's a staunch socialist or even a republican, it's his lack of respect for our traditions and culture that make a nation.

He was heard to mention that if he became Prime Minister he wouldn't kneel before the Queen; I'm sorry, it's expected etiquette and he'd bloody well have to. I'm not a royalist per say, but the Queen and the Royal Family have done a lot for this country and if he wanted to abolish the monarchy it wouldn't go down well with the majority of people here and worldwide. Look at the US: a republic that would die to have the Royals on their soil. I understand Australia's position, but even they have more respect for than this guy and the Royals have always been treated with courtesy and acceptance by them, and let's be honest, the family have been born into a tradition not of their making tbf. I was watching Question Time last night and I reckon his shadow chancellor had more balls to come on and apologise for some of his misguided comments he made about Thatcher - bitch that she was, because of her I had to leave Liverpool! - but his explanation as to why Corbyn didn't sing the national anthem held no water with me. Personally, I would be happy to see the anthem changed to Rule Britannia, but it's God Save The Queen 'cos it ****ing is and that's what we sing until someone in authority says otherwise.

Corbyn's a scruffy bastard with no respect for the traditions of Parliament, which, like it or not, have to be maintained. I was worried about voting for an Evertonian in an election, but by God now I wish Burnham had won!
