i would see us go to war before the Falklands are given to Argentina, he woudl struggel to get any backing from the current Government/conservatives.
I'll be amazed if he can convince the middle ground to switch back to Labour. Now he's in, I'll sit and watch how he does, but I don't hold out much hope, as the Tories will always major on his left wing background and that'll always be the elephant in the room for him, with the electorate.

so saying you'll go to war over the Falklands.. it is legitimate to ask if you would personally go to war or let someone else die for the war you would choose. It's a fair question when such hawkish statements are made. I always say, if politicians had to lead the charge there would be no war
You know that I am not and you know the question is not relevant to what I asked you as well. You don't want to answer the question because we both know that when you say "go to war" over the falklands you mean someone else goes to war, not you, someone else dies or gives their kids up to die, not you. There are many families now who are pretty ****ing angry, a a gross uderstatement, that their kids had to die in the Iraq and Afghan wars. Lets add to that pile of flesh by going to war over a pissy Island half the world away. Because there is oil off the shores. Great

This has nothing to do with oil/mining rights for me, you may want to bring that up as it falls within your agenda. I have replied to your question, I would happily go to war and defend a little part of Britan half way across the world. Not for any other reason than other Brits live in that little part of the world Your agenda seems to be very confused, nothing wrong with national pride.
