Doomesday scenario. They get the leasehold on the Liberty. We get relegated. Convert Liberty to freehold. Negotiate the end of the Ospreys. Build new 12 - 15,000 capacity stadium (what will need in League 1 & 2) Redevelop the Morfa site for massive profit.
Relegation will do me. There is no point being in the premiership making the yanks even richer.......i won't lose any sleep when we do go down it will be a blessing in disguise...
I'm told reliably that they are assuming the existing lease which covers operating & maintaining the stadium. Ownership of the Stadium will remain with the Council - so can only convert by buying the stadium from the Council. (They - the Yanks - won't spend the capital sum required to buy the Stadium.) The Ospreys remain for the next 35 years

I hope you're right , you can see know why part of the terms of the recent option from the yanks voted by the Trust members were that the trust had to contribute to improving the stadium (interesting to see if that comes about as the Trust are very limited to what they can do with any monies they hold ) , they're not or will put a penny of their own money into the Club ,sorry Dai you were so wrong , investors my arse.

Correct as things stand. But a fall in fortunes means the Swans won't be able to afford the commitment and the Ospreys never will. The current major shareholders sold themselves on the legal gymnastics undertaken to move DC United an put them in a new stadium with massive commercial opportunities.
The yanks and it's general in command (Jinks) wont be going anywhere soon....There is still plenty of money to be syphoned off yet....

Our Training and Academy facilities are one of the best in the premiership but our recruitment and the way we are a feeder club for other clubs leaves a lot to be desired and that is our main problem. The bricks and mortar and pitches are of a high standard but our management and recruitment and the running of the playing side is Low standard to diabolical at the very best....Jenkins is the chairman and he is the one we need to change and we have been saying the same thing for 3 seasons....
