Respect to Jenas for that. Loyalty is hard to come by in football, especially with some of the players we got. I thought Hughes said we we buying players with the right attitude? And said all the ones we had did have that good attitude? Shame its taken us to January to get some with the correct attitude like Jenas and Townsend.
Those ex-Spurs boys have done us proud in recent years - Walker (loan), Taarabt, Jenas, Townsend (loan) - Danny Rose currently on loan at Sunderland would be another interesting addition.
Hell yeah. Its easy to cling to Arsenals coat tails & moan about not winning a trophy for a few years, but real fans go into the next campaign with the same desire.......what ever league that may be. Rather suffer the bad times than be a plastic, & I expect we all know a few of them.
Jermaine Jenas is exactly the kind of classy, thinking player we'll need to stabilise a solid unit next term. Glad he's settling nicely and appreciates our club. May be understated but has made quality contributions every time he's had the opportunity.
I never really rated Jenas, but after watching him this season, he quite a decent player. I'd like to think he would stay if we went down as he would run riot in the NPC with us. Not sure if he will though esp as he's still talking about England..!
