He said Roma wanted the extra cash as they didnt want the fans to find out as it would upset them, and the twitter thing let the news out. Were Roma hoping that there fans would not notice he had gone after he left? They would end up upset either way.
And surely if we agreed to pay extra if the news leaked out then anyone from Roma could have set up a fake twitter account and leaked it
There is so much wrong with this post and I just can't even deal with right now. The main thing though is you want an innocent person who had his families and kids welfare and businesses threatened, and who was also threatened with having his ST took off him and banned from Anfield for good after 30 years nearly of support and going the game week in, week out, to just let it go without getting an apology which he fully deserves, just because YOU think Chang has an eye for a player? Is that right? Some Red you are then. LFC is about the fans. Were are union who fight together and if one of us has the piss taken out of us then we've all had the piss taken out of us and we fight back, together, as we look after own own. Thats what sets us apart from many other clubs fans is the unionisation of the fan base against corporate abuse. But if Chang can get us on to the next Crespo playing in the Bolivian 2nd Division though I suppose we can forget everything else and just let him off then. Rubbish. The man is a disgrace to everything LFC stands for and I want him out and I won't stop fighting until he's gone. Our clubs is ****ed in the future if some of the things I've read online lately by so called younger 'fans' is what they really think and feel.
I know for a fact that everything in that TAW article is a lie written by someone with an axe to grind. Don't worry were on that one two and in a couple of weeks the ugly truth surrounding that sorry excuse for journalism will also be out in the opening. If you listen to Mondays YAW Podcast, Andy Heaton, one of the main guys in TAW, confirmed from his involvement with the whole affair from day one, that everything in Boardmans article is incorrect and he backed up Jenkins claims as he was involved. Why considering TAW are on record stating the opposite of that article is in fact the truth, they have left that article up, I don't know.
I don't know whether Sean put it in the DJ blog he did last Friday but the best accusation that came from Chang that day was not just that Jenkins allegedly cost the club to pay an extra £300k to Roma BUT on top of this it had to be taken out of a funding pot that was aside for charity, in particular some kids charity in Toxteth, but now, thanks to DJ, their getting nothing. Ridiculous. Trying to guilt him into doing what Change desired.
Liverpool FC communications chief Jen Chang to be probed over 'Duncan Jenkins' harassment allegations.
I didn't post that article as "the truth" mate but as another opinion which is what I like to look at before making a decision. The more informed my gut is the more likely I can spot who the lying bastard is. I'd even sit down & listen to Jen if he put forward is view of events No matter what the truth & I suspect like all spats it's somewhere in the middle; this just makes the club look like rank amateurs & I'll not be popular saying this but it's the downside of trying to integrate fan forums & bloggers officially. Invite them all and the club oversees a version of the not606 board including some shall we be nice & call them "overly enthusiastic"? Start picking and choosing who you think are reliable and follow journalistic rules, you create jealousy & bitterness between what are first & foremost fans of the club. How about we get back to an official club communications process ran by someone actually qualified to do so. After that let forums & bloggers do what they do best, digest the official line, use any relationships with club people to unveil the odd tidbit & debate endlessly about what the club should or should not do.
