    Seriously. According to 'some', it's a reference to a guardian article about a republican commemoration event from 2003. Either that or slang for some torture method favoured by the IRA.

    Jelly is IRA slang for errr, explosives (probably) and ice-cream is errr, knee-capping. More than likely. So jelly and ice-cream is IRA slang for putting explosives on someone's knees. Probably kiddies knees too. I expect. <grr>
