Does it hide their quotes from other posters? Some of the threads made no sense to me yesterday. I notice there is an option to view ignored stuff down the bottom of the page.

I've never ignored/blocked anyone, mainly because threads would be hard to follow but also because fools can be entertaining.

I think they are still twiddling around with the site just now as their are no signatures showing and I don't think we can post pictures yet. There was an option originally to view a post on your ignore list but the entire post seems to disappear pretty quickly which obviously also removes the option.

PS. Why has the Jelavic thread turned into the New Site Format thread?

I guess. I have 52 posts missing on the first 7 pages (140 posts) of the match thread. No idea what's going on!

Well, the match threads are magnets for the biggest tools. I'm guessing you've put Patty on ignore, judging by those stats.

Think Steve Bruce knows as we all do that Jelavic is our best forward. What we dont know is how fit/well he is, Brucey does.

He'll play against Everton.

I like Jelavić. He really does put in the effort, commitment and endeavour - which is the minimum requirement for a club the size of ours. It's great to also see he contributes with goals aswell.
His work rate is sometimes his down fall, he's that busy chasing and closing players down that when we get the ball he's out of position! if he let the wingers do more work and he stayed in the middle he'd get more crosses in to him and he'd be in the right position!

I think his work-rate is excellent, as is Elmos. I see Elmo getting criticism for crossing from 30yds deep, but surely folk realise he can't do the full wing endlessly.
Jelavic needs another striker alongside him, just as Hernandez does. We have had little opportunity to see either striker work together, which, as Bruce once boasted, has the potential to be a bloody good partnership. Get them working the opposition back four and then Elmo can work higher, less long runs and more by line crosses.
While we're at it, Livermore rediscovers his form in midfield, so, of course, it is hugely sensible to play him at RB and our best RB at LB, With a natural LB recalled from loan and on the bench - yet again we weaken three positions rather than play strength in two and weaken one. It might make sense to Bruce, but . . .

With all subs used on the hour, I will be interested to see what new niggles we have.
