I ****ing hope so. The only time he seems to have been fit was when the pressure was off since N'Doye came. Before that it was flying to games, mrs pregnant or injured. I hope he comes good i really do but this could cost us.
Must say I was half expecting this after his post-surgery problems and the recent article in the Mail stating that Hernandez can still be a hero. Oh well, we will just have to find another way to score and who knows it might be the making of Hernandez. I actually thought N'Doye was too similar to Jelavic really so if he can play the lead role, it might just be a better alternative............IF!!
Abel just needs to stay as close to N'Doye as possible in each game...the quick free kick he took to put him through for that late chance against Lesta is all he needs to think about. Plus he needs to work as hard as Jela does closing the oppo down!
Time to find out then - aint it ? If Jelavic is out for just 6 weeks then he will only miss 3 games.....1)Chelsea, 2)Swansea & 3)Southampton. We have 2 x 2 week periods with no games* (assuming that Liverpool reach the fac* semis). * international break & fac. Hopefully Mo Diame will be back for the Swansea away game.
I suspect not. Hopefully someone will be dumb enough to pay us for the priviledge his medical bill and wages.
How many games has Jelavic actually played this season? God knows how he's got 8 goals, feels like he's missed half the bloody season. We've only won one game in which he didn't score. There have been numerous games we've drawn from winning positions after he went off. He's so bloody vital to this team, more than Diame. It's incredibly frustrating that the one who makes such a difference is the one who can't get fit. Reminds me of Bullard.
