Pardew should be jumping at the chance to try get a player like Jeffren, especially if its for just £5mill.

I did find it strange given he refused to contemplate a move to Udinese as part of the Sanchez deal. You'd have thought that would have been the more appealing move. Mind I've got loads of time for Owen Coyle and his style of play so maybe the word is out on the continent, Bolton is the place to be! Great to watch their fans get to see some proper football after all those years of fat sam punishing them. I know they thought highly of him at the time, but surely they must be finding out what they were missing out on. Coyle is a top manager, and top bloke when I've seen him interviewed.

Now I'm going to be honest I have never been that impressed when I have watched (admittedly only a couple of times).

Also I would have serious worries whether he could cope with the physical aspects of the EPL.

Rather be successful (Europe) and having to be on row Z to be in line with the ball than play entertaining football and settle for lower-mid table.

Depends if Coyle can push us to be as successful as under Big/Fat Sam.
