His sad passing has brought back some wonderful memories of my many visits to Chislehurst Caves during the mid-sixties when I met Ann my future and now bride. Her mother gave her a curfew time of 9:30 and so after I has seen her safely home I walked the 5 minutes down the road and went in to listen to some of the greatest music ever played on this earth. I certainly saw the Yardbirds and many others from the creative times of British music, which has brought us some of that creativity inspiring the bands of today. My room-mate was on the door and so my expenses were nil which helped out a poor boy listen to undoubtedly some of the most fantastic bands and the music they brought to the world.
not a good start to the year, his truth album is one of my favourites, and even after lord knows how playings still has the ability to sound fresh and original...thats quality, god bless and thank you,rip
From 12 months old I've sung Hi Ho to both grandchildren (poor devils).
Don't ask me why.
Now 9 and 6 respectively we sing Hi Ho each time we're travelling together.
