Supers - You always put forward some sound reasoning and I enjoy reading your posts!

I'm sure we'll see some quality signings in the next few weeks. Some posters on here need to take a 'Chill Pill' to last them a month!

Jed Steer went for the £££ thought he was better than that. Shame.

Dec was and always will be the better of the two. After a year on loan (ala Forster/Ruddy) he will prove it.

More than can be said for Steer, who will barely get a game.

I saw that you got upset that I closed your thread, bur as Supers pointed out, that was already on the sticky! This is a bit different with some interesting points being raised, that's why I left it!

Personally I think it is worth separating fact from fiction. An awful lot of what gets discussed on the transfer thread is paper talk and twitter rumour. There's nothing wrong with that - the rumours are invariably more fun than the fact! However, it's a volatile thread with a lot of posts to trawl through. It seems to me that when something more tangible actually happens, maybe there is still a case for having a dedicated thread that we can see at a glance?

I thought the same earlier. One for rumour/gossip call it what you will. Plus a separate one for confirmed moves, be they to or from NCFC or otherwise. That way people moaning about inactivity in the market can ignore the 'gossip column' <ok>

i agree. i think if its a confirmed signing (or sale) then it makes sense to either start a big new thread of 'completed deals' or each deal have its own separate thread. the top thread is more for keeping track of all the rumours and works well <ok>
