Why did mbia only play 15 games last year, injured or not 1st team player?

Great! As they offload Barton they get Cameroon international CB. Genius piece of business, but what are we going to do in january when Mbia with Taarabt, Diakate and Traore are all playing in Africa?

    Buy more!!!

Who knows, but I'm sure MH knows what he's doing. He did manage to talk Jamie Jackie in to an injury this week, maybe he plans more injuries?

Lots of people seem to think this is a a done deal, including rickroc who seems to be the only ITK worth any anything. But a reporter Simon peach who seems to keep his nose in our business, says that marseille are interested but have yet to make an approach. But how would he know anything if nothings been said?

Thank fook all this speculation will be over in a couple of weeks!

I seriously think this could be a good move for Joey. It'll take him right out of the spotlight and give him a chance to straighten himself out. Marseilles has a lot of parallels with his home town of Liverpool, my dad lived in France for a number of years and said Marseilles is quite a rough and ready type of place so he'll not be too out of place there. He won't get a better offer...

Looks like a great bit of business if it goes through. Mbia's Wiki page (which I know isn't the most reliable of sources) says it went through yesterday, and he's with us for the year. He looks like a quality player, and importantly, a versatile player who can fill a few different roles. Not on the official yet, so will be checking that throughout the day. If it goes through today (or if it went through yesterday as wiki suggests), will it be too late for him to start tomorrow?

Doubt he could play for a while - he'll need a work permit.

If he's playing in France and that being part of the EU wouldn't that be a formality or is it more complicated than that?

"When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea".

Maybe Barton wants to brush up on his French philosophy.

EU regulations are designed to make it easier for him to play.

We would need a work permit for Mbia, but as he's a regular in the Cameroon side, that'll be no problem.
