He was struggling a bit at palace in the championship so he would be nowhere near the standard we want....we cant afford any weak links in the side as that is asking for trouble....He is young yet so there maybe time on his side but we need players who are premiership standard for the league and Europe campaign next season....
Maybe another season on loan would help him develop? He is versatile (as has been mentioned) can play either side of defence or in the middle of the park, it's a clean slate now, ML will judge players on training and pre-season so plenty of time for Jazz for impress.
I recall he held his own last season when he was drafted in for Rangel for a few games but his inexperience showed but thats not say he can't make the step up some time in the future but I'm afraid he may have missed his chance with us now that Tiendelli has signed
Dai the things I'm reading on his time at Palace doesn't show any struggle mate, in fact the palace fans are full of praise for the lad.
we should keep him as he has great potential for a young player...send him out on loan again and retain his signature..
