    refs know the score, "going over the top" "raking" "elbows up"... they know the tricks footballers get up to and can decide. we pay them to do so after all.

    Mason clealry judged that johnson timed it perfectly so was in control.

    I don't think either were red card offence's but I can see why Spearing got a red, Kompanys was a joke, that's not even a foul imo, it's shocking the way the game has been ruined with stupid rule's but it's to be expected when there is a fat oddball in charge of world football.

    I'm obviously in the minority here but I stick by what I said. When I played I had a bit of a reputation for being fully committed to the cause and I loved a tackle, mainly played LB. I always went in with 1 foot and never 2.

    It may have been late it, may have been high, it may have had studs showing but it was with 1 foot.

    I suppose we all have different opinions on this one.
