Yes, I messed up. I thought people were talking about Austin, but got his birth place wrong, corrected that, realised we were talking about Jay, and the correction to my correction went wrong. Bloody mobile.
The Allams want to sell the club and despite what PLT and the other venomous ****s would want anyone to believe , they dont want to run the club into the ground cos that makes little business sense
Yes of course. They want to sell the club but they just haven't managed it yet. They're men of their word you see. Not to worry, they'll be giving it away for free soon as promised.
NONO PLT they want to run the club into the ground JUST TO PROVE YOU RIGHT. they dont want to buy any players, JUST TO PROVE YOU RIGHT they want to let our club fall into League 2, JUST TO PROVE YOU RIGHT. can anyone else see a trend?
just cos I dont fall in line with all this emo **** and I choose to see things logically? you dont? no wonder you think that.
Seriously away from the bickering Realistically what do people expect our january transfer strategy to be? Ive got a bad phelan, phelans going to be majorly pissed off come the end of deadline day and could possibly walk, seems hes out and about scouting players while making sounds in the media about the huge need to strenghten, firepower being the latest, i think hes assuming he'l be given funds I think when you assume with the allams in charge its going to end in tears i cannot seeing the allams making any cash available as they seem to of spent the last sky tv payment on mason and co No sale No cash available Phelan possibly walks end of january Hope not, but unless theres major movement on the dais supposed second attempt at a takeover, cant see anything else
If the Allams stay there is no money to spend. FACT Thats not them being ****s its that there is no money. We're 80 million in debt. Do posters really want more debt? There is no way to run a football club in the PL without a rich owner prepared to write the money off or a corrupt foreign owner laundering money through the club. Burnley didnt have a debt and got lucky much like Blackpool, but they arent splashing the cash are they? cos its not there. When the Allams came in we already had a debt. There was no way to get that down as we were, without speculating. Even Swansea had a debt and now have had to take on Yanks as part owners who obviously just love the club and want to give back...
Where would they get the investment from though and how will they get it back? There is no way really is there.
New owners or current owners, anyone else think we should be building a team for the Championship? I think we're pretty much nailed on to go down this season, I cant see new owners coming in time for the January transfer window... so any money Phelan does have should be going towards buying good, young players that can compete in the Championship.
Why? We're a point from safety and 4 points off mid-table? By the way some fans are talking it's like we're miles adrift. A few weeks ago Sunderland look dead and buried, now they're very much alive and kicking
Anyone buying the club is going to spend the money required to try and keep us up, otherwise the club they just bought for £100m is suddenly only worth £50m.
