Speaking at grass roots event
- Says rehabilitation is going very well, and everyone is delighted with the progress he is making.
- Happy with the season, and feels injury will make him stronger in the future
- Not surprised with our three lads being called up, especially Luke. Says he has been very grounded, "down to earth", and won't disappoint if called upon
- Says it would be "amazing" to keep the squad together, but "football is football, although it is only speculation at the moment"
- On Spurs speculation: "only concentrating on his knee injury, and rehab" (stupid question)
- "loves" playing under Pochettino. Would be disappointed if he left, but says it is only speculation.
- On Cortese's departure: "obviously a shock to see him go. He had done brilliantly, but the lads and staff concentrated on the stuff on the field. Think we have been brilliant and very focused on our football. Credit to everyone"
- On World Cup: Really looking forward to it, and have perfect balance between youth and experience. Exciting squad.
