TBF, I don't think Harding and Dickson are Prem standard. I think Adkins is trying to build a team that will be good enough in the Prem. I'd be very happy with the signing of Fox but as it was started in the Daily Mail, I doubt it's true.

Everything they write is normally for players leaving! but this was a nice change but still can't see this happening.

Is Rodriguez considered to have alot of potential? He only scored 15 goals in 50 odd games last year, i wouldnt consider those stats to be THAT good?

Could be good, but Maynard may not be too much more expensive and is more proven.

Rodriguez is only 22, Burnley friend who watches them as he reviews their side for FIFA games says he is tall, pacey, a goal poacher, and works hard.

They'd both be great signings. I'd rather Maynard, but both will be great.

A pacey poacher would work well off Lambert

Shows how serious NC is...thinks he can smell the Premiership.

Interesting that as well as the signed match ball Rodriguez was quite noticable in the fact he did not celebrate any of his 4 goals the other night. Just turned away, picked up the ball and got hugged/high fived by a team-mate.

Think we are doing what we did last season and before that. Buy the best available players in the division already, along with using European scouts for other gems.

Little doubt that Cork was one of the best midfielders in the Championship last season.

Rodriguez & Maynard, two of the best strikers, no surprise we are after them.

Plus, the signings are with an eye to them possibly being good enough for the Prem as well. All very sensible.

Don't doubt we should aim for play-offs and promotion, but a strong mid-table finish after some smashing football is not a cause for suicide. If not this year, then next. Only one game in, ask me again at Xmas.

Alll I ask for is top 6 finish and Sven to be sacked by Christmas.

I think I am right that Leicster only obtained 19 points from their last 17 games.

I think it was important what Nigel said about not breaking our wage structure. I'd expect that Rodriguez would be slightly cheaper in terms of fee and wages compared to Maynard.
