There's no way it's £5m guys, calm down. If we offered £4m for the two combined why would we raise that to £6.8m?? That's a very steep climb. And why would we spend £5m on Jay Rod when we could spend it on Maynard who is a better player?

J-Rod is used as a winger on occasion so it would make sense to have both. Rodriguez could play on either side of the top when we play just one main striker or be a partner when we play two up.
We wouldn't have a problem scoring goals that's for sure! Veyr much doubt we will sign both, but think we will get one of them.
Surely it would have been more correct of him (or her) to tweet "either" rather than "both". Whilst we might be chasing both of them, we're surely only going to actually sign one of them? Makes perfect sense to chase both, just in case one brakes down for whatever reason - but like I say, we're not actually going to sign both of them surely?
