You have more faith than a lot of our fans, however i do think the wheel is turning regards the doubters. The feel good factor will hopefully return very quickly.
I agree with you top two has to be the aim.SOD is the right man to lead us back up to the championship.we are very lucky to have such a highly thought of mananger by rival fans and the footballing world.

When & if Kilkenny & Fontaine leave, who will some fans on here moan at.....watch out the rest of the players, one of you will be in for a hiding here on not 606, some people will always pick on one or two players, they where probably the bullies in the play ground!!!

I hope SOD has the management skills to bring the best out of JET on cold and rainy nights at places like Crewe and Stevenage and I hope the player himself has the same desire. What we don't need is another work shy individual who doesn't want to get muddy

Big John, you are correct as there is always a group of fans who pick out one or two of the squad for their abuse. I have never done that, but on the other hand, as a cash paying supporter and a shareholder, believe that it is my right to voice opinions about the performances and how I see the committment of some players at MY CLUB.

So there are three or four in my opinion who are now past their "best before" date at Ashton Gate. Their poor performances and apparent total lack of passion for the shirt for various periods over the last three seasons, is one of the major factors that have taken this club from the brink of the Prem back to "No man's land" in League One.

I believe that we can only go forward when these individuals are gone from the club. If that makes me one of the "Slaggers" then so be it.

Also living on the wrong side of the bridge, have been told by a Cardiff fan that reason JET was crap at Cardiff was because he was played out of position and that he believes it will be a very good signing for us. Mind you said fan did like "Bellend", so not so sure about his sanity?

    I'd go for:

    Code:
    ----------------Fielding----------------
    ----------------------------------------
    --Moloney--Flint--Williams--Cunningham--
    ----------------------------------------
    ------------Kelly----Wagstaf------------
    ----------------------------------------
    --------Adomah----JET----Davies---------
    ----------------------------------------
    ----------------Baldock-----------------

Plenty of room for rotation, assuming that Adomah and Davies are happy to sit back a bit more centrally than they're used to. I think Adomah and JET could tear **** up together.

I would prefer Elliott as one of the defensive duo probably instead of Wagstaff who I think will replace either Davies or Adomah

BJA that is a fair point as all teams need a villain to single out whether justified or not, like Redprintt on LJ. Now I have been vocal on here about how poor Fontaine has been and I stand by that, he was poor and for me does not deserve another season at City. Nothing in particular against Kilkenny but as he did little and we now have multiple options at CM it makes sense to move him on.

Pay what he is worth for you to take him back but I don't think 75p would even cover his bus fare as far as the station.
