Afternoon all..town fan here in peace.
Like you have all said above, if JET can constantly produce his best, then he he'll be head and shoulders above everyone in L1, very talented, but extremely frustrating. And don't let his stature make you think he'll bully defenders, he definitely does NOT put himself about, and does not tackle. I wish him all the best tho, as i believe he is a genuinely decent bloke, and i hope he finally produces his best on a consistent basis.

When he played in THAT game where doncaster beat us 5-2 he seemed a skinny kid who can weave past defenders with ease, but bare in mind the defenders were jamie mcallister, jamie mcombe and liam fontaine <doh>

Not so interested in his abilities as a tackler there are other players who are in the team to do that as long as he doesn't do a 'Kilkenny' i.e. run away from tackles, panic and hit the ball anywhere then moan at the other players saying why didn't you see that pass.

First of all Good luck JET and good luck to Bristol City next season <ok> You have got yourselves a very talented player who has an abundance of skill and trickery but unfortunately he lacks the work rate and desire to be a team player. He will be fanastic for you when he makes his home debut in the sunshine but I really question his desire to play on a wet midweek night in Tranmere! I have got no axe to grind with JET as a player but having said that he was definately a luxury that we couldn't afford. I am also glad that Anderson has joined us and it does seem to be a good deal for both clubs eventhough we have had to pay the remainder of JET's contract.

Anyhoo, I have always had a soft spot for the Robins having watched Town play at the Gate since the 70s in the days of Gow etc. Best of luck for next season boys and I honestly reckion that yours will be only a short stay in Lg 1 <ok>

Thanks JWM you don't think your club needs to replace JET or needs a leftsided CB if you do I'm sure Mr O'D would be happy to talk to MM about Kilkenny and Fontaine they would be cheap.

We are getting more excited with each new signing just a few more to leave now and some replacements and we will have a team in the best sense of the word.

Believe me mate if we had any money to spend I would break the bank to bring Adomah in but that is very much wishful thinking! As for your prospects overall next season I can't really see anything other than you being in the automatic promotion places. You are far too big for that league and you have a quality manager to bring it all together.

We think Albert will be off to either Palarse, Baadiff or Reading. Wigan have made some offers of peanuts but the board said not a monkeys chance so now we wait and see.

Like Caldicott Cider says living over here with the Cardiff fans, I've struggled to find one who has something good to say about him apart from what's been said on here loads of talant but just don't apply it. The jury's out on this one for me as well, I can still feel the Leeds fans warning bells in our ears regarding Kilkenny. Now we have a Ipswich fan warning us this huge player won't tackle.

I will be over the moon if he turns out to be the player we all hope. If only this gets Kilkenny leaving the club then I will be happy.

It's OK for him not to be a tackler something Glenn Hoddle rarely did as long as he does not panic when someone looks like they are going to tackle him, though I do expect he will be a little lighter after a month of S O'Ds training.

Having read all the various threads on JET and watched the video of his interview JET says he prefers to play behind a striker now with S O'Ds preference for playing players in their best positions that would lead me to believe with the players we currently have it will be a 4-5-1 switching to 4-3-3 with Liam Fontaine left back

    and Kilkenny Right back

Left back on the training pitch
Right back where he came from somewhere in Yorkshire.

    JET is completely useless.

Im not convinced he is lazy. I just think hes out of his depth as a pro footballer.

1 of the worst players to wear a Cardiff shirt in the last 5 years.

JET bully defenders???? - yeah your in for a big disappointment.

    Seriously hes cr@p.

That swap deal is a good one for Ipswich.
