Fair play to all of you. This guy let you down. We have been through it with many players and as far as i am concerned f**k them. You gave him a home and he's thrown it back at you. You will find the right striker who wants to play for you for the right reasons. All these so called super stars 'the grass isnt always greener' in a few years guys you will be watching him playing for Barnet. You and us are better off with the likes of them.

Bothroyd lives just up the road from me (well used to live up the road from me) His house has just gone up for let again and his car has been parked in my golf club for the last 2 weeks, probably with all his possessions in there. So the assumption is he's on holiday or is house hunting. Rumors say that he has a bird up in London and wants to move up that way with QPR being the obvious choice.

And of course i took the opportunity to do some worthy vandalism and drunken singing outside his house after the play off defeat <laugh>

Would love Jay back, still loves the club and was made a bit of a scapegoat this season. The goals tailed off but I didn't see any drop off in effort.

I'd take him back if we could afford it, he's still a class player at this level. We can't and I'm sure he'll command quite a bit more than 14k a week. Thanks for the service Jay. It must be said he tried harder for us than he did for anyone else...

If he couldn't find another club, I personally don't see why he'd be in a position to demand that much. Yes, probably a little more than he was on now he's got 'Full England International' on his CV but not that much more surely. He's still a Championship player after all. I agree he's great when he's interested and gave us some fantastic memories (QPR springs to mind) but the 'old jay' is still in there and started to come through towards the end of the season. DJ buried it for a good while and poss MM could knock it out of him altogether (he doesn't strike me as someone who takes any ****). If he came back, I couldn't help but think we were his last option. If MM wants him back, then it's has to be on MM/CCFC terms.

crikey if thats the way you talk about one of your best players then there is no hope, shocking and you can see why cardiff will never experience the premiership for many years to come if ever, Betty has been a good servant for cardiff and its not his fault that he has had enough of a pretend club that talks about getting to the promise land but never does, many of his team mates have left so why shouldn't he if someone wants him, blame the bad running of the club and not Betty.......

****ing hell you jacks change your tune like the weather, as far as you lot were concerned last season he was a diver and a cheat, while he was a city player I supported him, but he chose to chase the money and leave and as far as I'm concerned '**** him' and while I'm at it **** you. It's got nothing to do with you so start acting your age and grow up and get back on your own ****ing board

Superduck: your colours may have have changed but the ****e you come out with is pretty consistent, fair play.
You should concern yourself with why anyone would publicly state they would rather stay loyal to a 'pretend club' than join a club like yours.
Jay left HOPING someone wants him (I don't see a queue forming to date) and we're, allegedly, supposed to bump his money to £14k+ just to have the 'privilege' of him wearing the shirt again?...get real ffs.
Like many have said, he did some great things for us but let us all and himself down since 'the cap' so we're entitled to say what we like about him.

Your grip on reality is fading old man... touch of the bird flu maybe?

Wow...you used to say he was a whiner and ****e and typical of why Cardiff would never make the Prem....you really are a idiot. Can you actually remember your wifes name? She probably hopes you can't.

Do you understand what the term "playing devils advocate" means you clown. Now sit on this :emoticon-0173-middl and bog off.

:cheesy::cheesy: Siam love the link but this clown probably can't remember how to follow a link and his selective memory doesn't know where the Swans board is.

Perhaps the best thing to do with Jay, if he can't get any Prem club to take him, is to offer him a deal which sees him leave come January.
Low enough wages we can afford with a small amount trigger in the contract.
He has to play his heart out for a few months to get in the limelight again, so we get Jay at his best, and he gets to move to a Prem club in January when they will be hungry to recruit from the lower league at low prices.

There are some decent Jacks out there (I know, they're hard to spot), there are some idiot jacks out there (the flock together and easy to spot) and there are some ****ing lobotomized cretins like this one. A course of Electro Convulsive Therapy might do the trick but it would be a waste of energy.

Seems to be chasing the money. If Everton were serious, it seems a strange choice to go to QPR. Anyway up to him. Fair to say he won't be back :)

EDIT: Just want to have this remembered so that I can give Sicklyswan ****e later
"im very confident that we will get 50+ points and will end up around 10th - 12th....in Brendan we trust, one mountain conquered and another about to be conquered...."
as he posted earlier about the Swans chances. Seriously ****ing senile!!

Bothroyd believes all the hype about himself and then forgets he has to play well to live up to it, hope he get used to sitting out games.
Perhaps its better to have had the clearout and start looking at fresh new talent.

Well if he goes to Everton, we will be able to get him back on loan come January. Happy Days, as i cant see him puting a shift in for the Scousers, and i cannot see the lovely Lisa moving to Liverpool not so long as Jay has a whole in his ass.
