    Don't see where the guys coming from one bit in terms of price tag?? 5 year deal, bangs goals in for fun wherever he's been, but the guy thinks they'd be able to "persuade" us to sell for a reasonable price, what planet is the guy on! <doh>

    Seems reasonable TBH, no different to what we would say about other players we want our club to sign.

    Realistically, we all know it's going to be a tough window. I just hope we can pull through with the players we have and get some backup. It really is down to Pardew to instill a sense of comittment (which I think is already there for a lot of player in our team) and for Ashley to say they'd have to pay through the nose, which Pardew said only yesterday.

    I think the 'reasonable price' comment is just optimism, can't blame him for that really.

    Chin up mate, sure we'll be fine. Got that Maiga fella coming along too hopefully.
