Might be to late if we are just waiting for the ink to dry on Adebola deal.

Just been looking at the EDP (Eastern Daily Press) and Jewell has just signed Nathan Ellington.....added to Michael Chopra, Connor Wickham, Jason Scotland, Tamas Priskin and Ronan Murray.
Anyway, that's what the EDP claims, even though it might be fudging the details.
Looks like Jewell and the Tractor Boys are gonna make a serious effort this next season!

See your point, but of those I'd only be worried about Chopra. And other teams will have to fear Fryatt in the same way.

We've signed two, they've signed three. One of those being a fat striker who hasn't been any good since well before Paul Jewell was exposed in the News Of The World. They've also lost their captain and their best centre half. Oh, and Bullard.

2007-2008 season: 29 goals in all competitions (League 1)
2008-2009 season: 21 goals in all competitions (Championship)

Not a bad record if you ask me.

Fair enough he only got a couple for Wigan, but the step up to the Premier League was obviously too great for him. Did OK last season for the Tractor Boys, if we could get him on a free transfer I wouldn't be complaining.

Send McLean back to P'boro, a striker force of Fryatt, Simpson, Scotland and (unfortunately) Adebola would bear a fair few goals <ok>
