Unless it's long term, my employer believes what you say. Saints trusted Puncheon..the blame rests solely with him.
This just makes me want rid of the guy even more. He's paid a lot of money and this is no way for a pro to behave..
But you can't really look into an injury until you do a medical... and you can't do that until you make an offer and get it accepted. Barney had a severe ankle injury in April, still has it. If someone wanted him in June, they couldn't do anything to check it out until they do a mdeical. My point here is that Barney will probably be ok, so might Fontaine, but do you take a gamble.
Hmm not sure what to make of this latest information.............An awful lot seems to have happened without a sniff getting out? If someone loses some wages that usually gets out. If that is what happened he is lucky he didn't get the sack and for Saints to keep his registration which means he cannot play professionally until Saints allow him too and only usually when they have been compensated for loss of his services. That could/would effectively end his career in football. It is true it would be an unusual step but it would not be the first time. Explains his willingness to turn up to train with the Academy perhaps. With the obvious degrading of his status with his team mates. It cannot be easy for him.......
This! There's no way Puncheon just went up to NA and went 'I'm injured' then got 2 weeks off, he'd just had 8 weeks off or whatever after the season anyway where he probably went on holiday. I'm sure if he was injured the club doctor would check him out as if he was an important first team player, especially as if we are trying to sell him an injury could cost the club money! In summary: this obviously isn't true.
Just saying what I was told in person. If you read up you might find what others have said on this matter. If someone phones in sick for work they don't immediately rush someone round to check on me or the person. If there is trust why would there be?? Still, each man (or woman fran) to their own.
Yeah sorry, nothing personal against you, I'm dubious on the training ground punch up rumour myself and just think a football club is run a little differently to an office. For example someone in an office isn't an asset that could be sold for £1m depending on their physical condition.
Indeed, and rightly decided that his out-of-date yoghurt was more important. I hope we aren't reading the first rumblings of some sort of humbled gesture of apology by Puncheon, because it really doesn't wash. If the squad were desperate for his services, then maybe... NO, what am I saying..? NO. Get rid.
