that doesn't matter at all. why do you think I mentioned that another poster confirmed instead of repeating it myself. if true, it could mean prison time for tax evasion and a long ban from football.
This storys really starting to gain some momentum on quite a few fans forums right now. I really do hope Neil gets the positive reception I think he deserves at HQ this coming Saturday. I know Warnock was not everyones cup of tea but respect is still due for what he did for us.
Just cant buy it (no pun intended). Can you imagine the numbers of players he has looked after in his time that some disgruntled player or agent who wants his player to move would not have brought this to light...
Not true. The fact that we're all getting this on our pc's, tablets and phones in England means there's publication here within the English laws of defamation. As a practical matter, I doubt NW is going to be too excised about chatter on football forums. He'll have his lawyers chasing an apology from Puncheon. Be interesting to see how it develops
Correct. Thing is though, if he ends up suing, anyone who wrote the libel can fall under the blanket of prosecution.
What would happen if someone said that someone else had already told the first someone the same thing last year, about dodgy dealings going on.......allegedly ?? How would that stand ??
no one wants to be the first one to say it. same goes for match fixing, spot betting gay players and drugs. its obviously there but players don't want to speak up.
I find this allegation hard to believe. Puncheon may have to prove what he has said to be true as Warnock surely cannot let this go without a very public apology or a Court making an award in Warnock's favour. Were it me being libelled and my probity (and therefore both my career and body of work) questioned, I think I would seek recompense through the Court.
there's no way Warnock will want this to go to court if its true, as I said before, he would get banged up for tax evasion if the courts find that he did get payments. if true, the best thing for him would be an apology so he looks innocent and the authorities don't look into it.
