Yeah, there is nothing wrong with the system at all, they just can't use it as it's a deemed a driver aid.

Much like Benetton's launch control in 94, which was never used <whistle>

If I was to guess maybe the system has predefined biases, and the driver just has to press next? Therefore its both driver controlled and not?

It's like they had points then they didn't have points.

If you have driver aids but you may or may not be using them they are Shrodinger’s driver aids.

Well, they had legal points that were won illegally, so legally the illegal points were removed because of the legal/illegal system. It's simple when you put it in Black and White.

Turns out they have had it for years, even back when Grosjean raced for them.

Are enstone the most cheating team of all time?

Or maybe they are just the team that has been caught the most <laugh>

It does seem to me that if something doesn't break the technical rules and hasn't been spotted by FIA in a number of years it should be allowed.
There seems to be a big grey area surrounding what is or isn't a driver aid. The electrical recovery and deployment is part automated and part driver selectable. So surely that's the same as Renaults brake bias system?

Seems like the FIA haven't been looking at the standardised ECU software very closely over a number of years!!!!!!!!!

Steering wheels and brakes aid drivers to steer and stop.
