Well he's back in the fold. Not really seen his name come up since his sub appearance against arsenal. On the bench the last two games. Is he the forgotten man already? Can he use that to good use? He's been average to say the least showing flashes of brilliance while getting the basics so wrong. Hopefully with it being so quiet in regards to his return he can use it as a clean slate without the pressure he'd have had if Moyes or the Media had made a fuss of his return.
I honestly think he is not a player for the rough and tumble of midfield/defending from the wing. Our game is developing better and will suit his breakaway style. His and Watmore's speed could become utilised as the game goes on.
Once Borinis back can't see him getting much of a look in. Can we send him back in January and use the loan for someone else ?
He's been awful it seems. Maybe it's lack of confidence and maybe a bit of an attitude issue. Who knows? Underneath it all is or at least was a phenomenally talented player. Shame. For you and us.
We need him the squad is week I find him ok and he can do a job Nowt wrong with januzai if he gets his head into gear
I think a lot of it's down to us being a bit crap and under the traditional transition period that we like to have a few times each year. Not an easy team for a flair player to come into, I don't think he's been terrible he just isn't what we need at the moment and it shows. I'm sure at the right side with the right manager he would realise his potential. Could turn out to be you guys under Mourinho.
If we have the option to send him back, I think we should providing we can get a replacement in. Don't think we will though.
Can't be cutting people down off sub appearances. The lad needs game time so he has the chance build his form and and match sharpness. I don't just expect players to comeback from injury and set the world on fire, especially against a team holding 80% of the possession and leading. Reality is he's entering the later stages of recovery. Fans need to reasonable and patient with him.
I'm not cutting anyone down. I don't think he is the right fit for us, esp in our current predicament. If we were mid-table and playing with confidence, arguably yes. I hope he proves me wrong, as we need alternative outlets up top, who can hold the ball up/ keep the ball and do something with it.
He was rubbish at one of the best attacking sides in the world in Dortmund, wasn't interested and was sent back pretty quickly. I've seen quite a bit of him for Man Utd and apart from his debut and if I remember right a deflected goal on his second game what has he ever done? Similar impact to Macheda but got given a huge contract as he could have left for free at the end of the season.
Well I vividly remember him tearing us to pieces. Wouldn't mind seeing that side of him for us. It's in there, I've seen it.
