Love us to get Hazard, Mata is brilliant but I feel he's more useful in the middle than on the left. Hazard would provide the beloved width we have so longingly missed since Robben departed. Sturridge as a kind of 2nd striker, cutting in, smashing it with his left. Piazon will be a big addition, few clips on youtube show him as a striker but he's got the flair we've been needing for a while.

I really hope we hammer Genk again then do the same the the Rovers and hopefully the break will do us good for the Liverpool game.
 
I really don't want Hazard. It's 40mil down the drain. He is also useless in Europe. He looks lost when playing against non French teams. Maybe he'll improve but I'm convinced he wants to move to Spain anyway.

Since Cechs career is coming to it's end I agree with Courtois in goal. Would prefer Luiz - Subotic and I'd have Van Aanholt over Betrand any day. Betrands not that clever with the ball. Midfield is fine but assuming we don't get Hazard it's got to be De Bruyne. Emile Heskey up front and we're in business.

Edit- And I suspect Dávila will really challenge for that Sturridge position. Probably more useful there.
 
I think if we pass up Hazard then we should definitely go for Hulk, great right winger, great goal scoring record, knows avb very well and looks like here suit the premier league

throwing money at the problem isn't always the answer. We've outspent city since Jan yet look at the difference in that time.

Let the new blood including the manager settle in and see where we are come the summer.

January is a time to bring in reinforcements if needed not to change the whole team.
 
I'm sorry but all those who say sell 6 players in jn and bring in half a new team are clearly ******ed WTF! thats something you do in a summer not half way through the damn season. What we need to do is , remind the team to defend as a team, there is nothing worng with a straight back four, and not defend so high up the damn pitch! Barca do it becuase they tend to keep the ball a lot. An before anyone calls Terry slow , he's faster the puyol, puyol is not however exposed to idiot back passes sent behind him with RVP already in full flight!
