I dont think we will be doing much business in January. The reasons I think are the lack of availability and the inflated costs plus I am not sure if weare as attractive to players as we were in the summer.
During the summer we were brining in RVW, Hooper, Fer and Redmond and I think this was seen as a mini revolution that tempted players like Toivonen and Alderwereild to consider us. If we approached them again now I think they would discount us as our signings dont really seem to have improved us (from an outsiders perspective at least).
If we can push on after Christmas and end up around mid table then we may be in a siilar position again next season but I dont think we will be bringin in anyone who will drastically imrpove us in January - i would love to be wrong though.
I would like to see us bring someone in on loan for the rest of the season who we probably couldnt afford to buy and may be out of favour at their clubs currently. I dont have any suggestions but that my feeling on the matter as it stands..... 2 or 3 wins before January though and that can all change!
