They had to pay their captain to **** off, what a club.

It's ****, but a severance package is normal. Paid £7m to save ourselves £29m in wages.

Anyway, the bigger issue is going into the rest of the season with Lacazette (3 goals) and Nketiah (0 goals)

<wah>

Paid £7m to ship out a player, bro. Usually you're not meant to pay for the departures.

Captain too... shameful.

Maybe Lacazette or Partey to sign new £300k contracts now with that saved wages money <rofl>

Sounds like Everton might be interested in hiring Steve Hitchen who resigned from his post with us today.

He's not actually as bad as his recent track record suggests, but the decision making between him and the hierarchy at our club over the last few years has been abysmal.

I think Van De Beek could prove to be a decent signing tbh. I’d imagine he’ll play as a No.8 for us.

As I said in an earlier post, watched him a few times at Ajax and was very impressed ... even put a tenner on him for first goalscorer (might have been against Spurs) which netted me close to a ton as I recall ... he is certainly not a defensive midfielder in the mould of Fred or McTominey ... I would have been happy if we'd got him on loan. <cheers>

He was brilliant as an ACM for Ajax, but that’s because he had hard grafting midfielders around him. I think he could also be used as more of a playmaker / box to box for you guys.

Obviously he didn’t get much of a look in for those positions at Utd due to Pogba and Bruno doing those roles (despite flossy’s claims it was all about ego) but there’s defo a talented player in there

Just remains to be seen whether Fat Frank can utilise him in his best role

No point having a battle of wits with a man that's unarmed ... but good to see you have now come around to my view on the player ... but don't forget this Ponky ...

There's no accounting for the level of delusion that goes on in your 'old head' Flossy <ok>

You haven't got a clue though.. You though your new training facilities would keep you ahead of man united and Arsenal for years

Summin about Porto wanting 60m for Diaz, which we were apparently happy to pay this coming summer, but spurs bid triggered our interest earlier than planned and Porto were willing to take less now.

Costing us 34m instead of the reported 60m.

Nice one dan:emoticon-0148-yes:

Let's concentrate on this instead of Aubameyang <ok>
