who knows, it’s a £10m gamble. Could be good, could be ****. Sure he has sell on value if he flops, Newcastle will be looking.
If he don't work out at least we can all laugh at his tiktok vids together<laugh><whistle>

Van de Beek doesn't get into a team ahead of Pogba and Bruno Fernandes

That's got nothing to do with egos

No player should get an automatic start however out of form he is Ponks <doh> ...

Pogba and Fernandes were absolute dog against us, primarily because neither were prepared to track back or put a proper shift in ... we've been beaten by teams with lesser mortals because they had players prepared to do just that ...

Brenda dropped Maddison earlier this season when he wasn't cutting it ... he's been superb since he forced his way back in ... cocky little **** ... but knows he can't expect to start if he's not on it ... or at least showing full commitment.

You really struggle with this footie stuff don't ya Ponks?... perhaps you should take up a hobby like Mountain biking where there's less pressure? <laugh>

Everton win the January transfer table with 6 new faces.

Watford and Newcastle joint 2nd with 5 in each.

Brighton, Brentford and stevie fc joint 3rd with 4 in each.

Liverpool win the ****house January cup for stealing spurs dreams last minute.

Well done lads.

well for Everton it’s not a lot. For others it seems a lot.
Who knows, the fee seems low, but he's been utter dogshit for so long it could be that or perhaps there's other things going on with him behind the scenes which put other off.

Soon see

Calm down Flossy <cheers>

Pogba and Bruno Fernandes are better players than Van de Beek, that's just a fact. Both have demonstrated that they can do it in the prem and at international level. Van de beek was really good for Ajax, but has so far failed to live up to that hype in the prem.

Utd's problem is coaching that team, not the individual skill of the players. Ole wasn't up to the task, and Ragnips isn't much better. Utd should have gone for Conte, and if they are really serious, they should go for Poch in the summer.

Nah, wanted to play for the PL’s greatest goal scoring MF player. So bumped the rest by saying he was busy playing FIFA

Mixed fortunes for my club, one new manager, one new midfielder, but we lost out best player to Bolton Wanderers.

We've still got some embargo hanging over us due to the EFL loan we took out during covid, so it knackers us buying players, I think the new midfielder to us was a freebie. His contract is only until the end of the season, as I think we can't offer anything until this embargo is up.

We are also at our maximum loans which I think is six, so I assume that means we can't take anymore loan players either.

For the new manager, it's now work with what you've got.

We aint got no money. The fee for our best player that left (Dempsey) I think was undisclosed, but his contract was up in the summer, so the best guess figure is less than £200k - I assume that will go towards paying off the loan and the new managers wages.

Less than 200k is a joke in the grand scheme of the money you see in the Prem. I'd prefer to have kept him, but all my lot keep telling me is we need the money - we will lose more than £200k if we get relegated.

Nobody calmer than an old head patiently explaining footballing concepts to those lacking in an understanding of the beautiful game, Ponky ... I see it as vocational as well as educational and I quite enjoy it ... now if you want to go and play out on your bike for a bit, I'll continue later if you want? <cheers>

Its a 40 mill gamble lad

10 mill is the first payment after 20 games…you haven’t got 20 games left to play so I expect to get it early next season.
