Sounds like Digne could be going Villa for just £25m. Everton having mare there if true, been one of the most consistent LBs in the Prem for a few years.

Though they’re not the only club that’ll have a mare. We’re supposedly gonna make an offer for Traore of about £20m. Zero goals, zero assists this season and his only attribute is that he can run fast. Buzzing <rofl>

You say he is one of the most consistent LB in the PL, sorry but having watched him for last 18 months he has been well below his best. 25m for a 29 year old on 120k a week and replaced with a younger Ukrainian international....I am happy with that.

... not his only attribute ... Johnson's Baby Oil sales have rocketed ... he has to take an enormous amount of credit ... and baby oil <whistle>

29 is nothing in today’s game though, he’s still got about 3-4 years of top level footy in him. Swear he was amongst the highest assists for a FB again last season? Couldn’t have been that bad surely? Though in fairness I haven’t watched him loads and you’d obviously know far more than me. Just seems a poor fee in my eyes, about £10m short.

Some of our fans actually want him and I just don’t get it. He’s got no brain and very little technique, just basically what you’d get if Usain Bolt played football. We’ve made some gash signings over the last 5-6 years and it feels like he’ll be adding to it.

I agree mate, I've watched him enough to see he's all speed and power and not much else, it's too easy to say he has no end product, but he doesn't lol it's his football intelligence that really stands out as poor for me.

Wolves is his level, but maybe Conte can sort him out

Maybe it is a bit short of what we could get. But he is on £120k a week so if we can shift that on it will help in other areas. Can be great going forward, but can switch off defensively and we need better in the system we have now

Yeah if Conte wants him then I back the manager’s choice but just feels like something that’s destined to fail. Apparently he wants Traore to be a RWB too… I’d rather we just went to Brighton and offered what they wanted for Lamptey, think he’s the bollocks and will only get much, much better.

Neither can they, to be fair:

Took the lead in the 93rd minute and conceded in the 98th, somehow.
The Loch Ness Drogba is a great nickname, though.
We deserve credit for not crying off like the big boys. We recalled our loan players and stuck the 3rd choice goalkeeper in nets against a team fighting for promotion against us just so the game could go ahead. That's a marker laid down for everybody else to follow.

What about teams in Europe?

Not everyone plays once a week<whistle>

Oh and well done btw
