Reckon they'll go for Haaland in the Summer as a long term Aguero replacement. Could see it if that didn't happen though.

 

Yeah Haaland is the one everybody wants but we won’t buy him cos of Raiola. He’ll end up at City or Madrid.

**** knows what our plan is, Martial is certainly not the long term answer.

 

We could do a lot worse than sign Ings ourselves.

Cavani probably will do us for two seasons and Martial definitely isn't a centre forward.

Ings is a genuine striker.

 

You’ll be borrowing against guaranteed future TV income for cashflow reasons. A lot of clubs do it with the Sky cash, as it’s usually paid in chunks, end of August being the main payment iirc. Which in normal seasons comes too late to fund transfers.

 

Wouldn't leave a great deal of gametime for Greenwood though. Can we have him on loan?

 

He's miles from being the finished article, way too soon for him to be considered a starting striker.

He's first team squad though so unlikely to go on loan, soz.

Problem I've got is, not many we send out on loan historically make it.

Beckham is an obvious who did one off the top of my head.

Lingard also came back and made the first team but has since bombed.

Well yeah, but a bit soon to call either a first teamer yet.

Bit of a stretch, Henderson especially can't get in the team a minute. Squad players for now.

However, both went off and came back and didn't disappear, and Greenwood is still young enough to do that.

 

Probably none then. Jonny Evans maybe.

 

We’re looking to take Ødegaard on loan from Real. Kid looks like a big talent. Really impressed on loan at Sociedad and it looked as though he’d go straight into the team on his return to Real.

For some reason Zidane hasn’t included him though and Arsenal are keen to take him until the summer.

 

Vardy is out for a "few weeks" as he needs a minor hernia op ... been fairly apparent that he's not been operating on full throttle recently ... be interesting to see what Brenda will do ...
