The reason these clubs are circling is because Cellino and Evans have put every one of our players on the market by saying things like "we have £30 mill of offers on the table for our squad". Then on Friday Evans said "everyone has their price". If you are not in the market you either ignore speculation or just say we are not selling. Now some might see progress, others see a possible fire sale brought about by a short term cash flow crisis not for LUFC perhaps but for Massivego Cellino, both in the end amount to the same thing. Evans can't win. Overpay and if they're not a roaring success, he'll be slated. If he can't find anyone worthwhile in January window at realistic rates then he also gets slated. He's only here three months but seems to be taking the blame for all the misdemeanours of the last decade
