August/ September .....We were 14th when it ended. We didn't lose, but we didn't win. Why? Becaus were shot shy, as I said no progress.

We've had the nucleus of a good team in the past but either didn't strengthen or sold the better players. I'd think Byram, Cook and Taylor are our most saleable assets. The only other players I've heard mentioned as being bid for are Antenucci and Bellusci so if we have got bids in excess of 30 million I can only presume the interested club are buying ER as well
Good try, but no cigar. That was a 7 game run in the Championship / League Cup, ending in a 1-0 defeat by Ipswich. Who's a naughty little pork pie teller then? This 8 game run has also included 3 victories, unlike the single victory in the 7 game run you incorrectly mentioned. Best run I can see last season is 5 games unbeaten in March. Only 1 competitive defeat this season has been by more than 1 goal (Boro), take note. Most unusual for us you must admit, given our form over the last few years. Surely you can't argue that this is not progress? You're really scraping the barrell with this one. Perhaps you need to have a wee holiday in Syria or somewhere to recharge those negative thoughts? .... and before you ask, I'm not at Thorp Arch as I arrived to find they'd cancelled the match due to a waterlogged pitch.

You do realise we were unbeaten in the last two games of last season, one win and one draw so technically that's a 9 game unbeaten streak!

Actually, if you wish to add the 2 results from the end of last season, then fair enough. I didn't think you would allow that in your hateful wee world. That means a run of 9 games and one of 8 games too. Last season, as I said, we only managed a run of 5 unbeaten. Thank you so much for further undermining your 'no improvement' position.
