Its odd isnt it.. A while ago Hayden was just here to make up the numbers. We seemed happy to send him back to Arsenal and let him go on loan to another championship team.. Now suddenly he has a few decent games and grabs a goal and Bruce wants to sign him on a permanent.
It'll be especially sweet if he plays a starring role at Fulham and we win, seeing as he was meant to be in a Fulham shirt by now.
I'm not sure how Hayden and Livermore managed to play together today.
Why not? Hayden complimented Livermore just as much as Meyler does. For me, that was our strongest starting 11
I'm guessing he was making a reference to Bruce's comment a couple of weeks back that Hayden and Livermore played the same role, which implied that he wouldn't play them together.
What's more confusing is why he posted it in the January window thread...
Fair point, but if you look hard you might find a few more posts in this thread that have bugger all to do with the transfer window.
Reminds me of when Ince was being loaned out and then suddenly he was an important signing.
I think Bruce has got the Arsenal loanees priorities right now, Akpom isn't the main one for us to keep satisfied.
Bagged 17 goals in the Championship last year, 9 in 16 the year before. Seems to score with his head a fair bit as well, which is something we rarely seem to do.

I agree, he'd certainly be better than no signing at all. If Hernandez gets injured we're screwed.
