Botman liked a post about Trippier signing for us.

 

I think the makems were hoping the human rights stuff would resurface, but that's mostly over now.

The initial big tantrums are over and now there is likely going to be very little on the subject

 

They tried to drag politics and culture into sport and failed miserably.

The 'faux outrage' shields will now gather rust as the reality sets in that we are buying players worth more than their whole squad.. and the Saudi's mean business.

Botman is interested. We are close to agreeing a fee.

 

Not sure on Barbossa. He does not have the best record in Europe, From what I have seen, anything around £45M for Botman would be decent.

 

Please say you aren't teasing and that you have some reliable intel.... ?

Botman, Barbossa and Trippier would be a great transfer window in its entirety and could be done before Watford! Add another CB (Diego Carlos) and CM (Ramsey) of a similar ilk and we'll be flying! Christian Eriksen cancelled his contract with Inter in December - would still be fully on board with giving him a 6 month contract and seeing how he does.

 

I would take Christian Eriksson in a heartbeat (sic.)

 

Lille don't but money talks. Botman wants to join.
