And he could have been respectful to the new lad. But he ignored him and was on his phone. You would think he was annoyed at being hoyed out. And was he really a good player. I would say he was an average stop gap filler. Who for whatever reason this season went awol.
I can’t believe most of those ****s can’t be bothered to stand up and welcome a fellow professional. ****ing children.
Clark has been utter trash every time he played this year. Between him as the LCB and Ritchie at LWB and ASM at left wing, teams were targeting us down that side constantly. Ritchie has been really poor there and his positional sense could be forgiven at times due to a lack of familiarity, Clark screwing up the basics like marking when he's playing in his proper role is inexcusable. It wasn't 1 or 2 games, it was every time he played - he has been woeful. I don't agree with the character assassination currently happening with him - he served the club for the purpose he was brought in for, he helped the club get promoted and exceeded expectations by getting a few PL seasons in. It's not his fault the previous management failed to move him on and freshen the team up. However he need dropped into the development squad and not be allowed to stink the first team out anymore. His attitude yesterday to meeting a new team mate stunk.
