I know what you mean goalscorers we lack, but Wilsons back in 4 weeks.. I think a better side creates more chances for the fwd so we might see both ends improve anyway.
I think a lot hinges on how soon Wilson gets back - we're stronger without doubt and I'd like to think we've brought in tactically aware players with a bit more flair added. I just haven't been overly impressed with what little I've seen of Wood so far and still have my frustrations with ASM and his end product. That being said about ASM with Bruno in there now and Trippier, we have more at our disposal so pressure may not be on his shoulders alone.
Yes absolutely. A good enough 11 to get the results we need to getting out of relegation. I think all the signings add something extra. I also think some might be surprised at how good Burn and Targett are.
I would like an update on Fraser / Murphy to give teams more to worry about from our right. Someone that can put in a good cross and skin a player into the box.
Lingard. If we can get him in. Then that would be a 9/10 transfer window. Given the state of play. I would like to put it on record that my negative attitude towards the owners and their policy etc was completely wrong. I am extremely happy with us spending the money we have and also grateful.
If someone had offered me Wood or Weghorst before the window and told me to pick one I'd have gone for Weghorst like.
Me also. I posted this almost at the start of this thread. At 25m he’s a better player and scored a lot of goals over the last 2 years. But it is what it is.
