Assuming we are offering good terms on contracts and the certainty that we've got owners who are going to invest is the chance of a year in the Championship sufficiently offset in many players minds by the + points?
I think quite alot, but to agents who bend players ears a monster offer could be tempting. How big are these monster offers do you think?
So the Gossip column says Trippier's all but over the line, and the Chronicle click bait **** in my FB newsfeed says Tarkowski, Hazard and Mbappe. Obviously the last 2 are ludicrous, but the Trippier rumour seems valid, and if we take Tarkowski off Burnley it'll cause them serious problems.
I've heard £150k a week quoted for Trippier. I can see how the British lads, especially if getting on a bit might be more keen as money / contract good but it's going to be a really hard sell to foreign players of the quality we want. I'd be surprised if we got Botman and I should think Dembele's agent is just using us as a bargaining chip.
