2 is the only real thing there, regarding 1, even Klopp is bewildered as to why he hasn't left. Signed with a release clause if we go down maybe? Would snap it up, but once again I don't see it.
Nobody is being offered a release clause - Howe has said that if they even bring it up in negotiations it suggests they don't have the required mentality
The other worry is if we are paying Burnley £20m in the midst of a relegation battle they can go and buy a £40m striker for the same outlay we have made... We all know a £40m striker doesn't always cut the mustard and is sometimes a better CM then striker but I'd be worried about who they bring in to replace him.
Not being funny - If Liverpool had been offered the £20m-£25m we're paying for Wood they would have screen shot the **** out the offer and used it as blackmail for the next 20 years.
Horses for courses. Wood is of no use to Liverpool cos there strike force is a thousand times better. If Wood gets goals and we stay up and Burnley go down, then he's worth every ****ing penny and more.
Chris Wood usually gets 10+ goals per season (Burnley stats since 2017). That's on par with Callum Wilson. Is that standard too low for you? We haven't got a fit striker - which was why we lost on Saturday. He's great in the air and will get on the end of crosses from Trippier /Richie / ASM / Murphy /Fraser. This acquisition weakens a direct rival, who are mired in debt and won't buy big to replace him.
You mean Eddie howes more successful successor edit replied to wrong one that was for ginger wheezer comment - I’m a spaz
Waves at Awaymag from Newcastle-online page 47 of transfer rumours who “heard” Phil Jones is coming and Lille want a replacement - You absolute ****ing melt - Me and GG we’re fishing for a mole expected one on twitter or news now rather than one of the toon forums
Mate I mentioned Ekitike on here the other day and all of a sudden it was all over twitter nobody had heard of him until then
