That's not a bad point but I'm seeing it as a teaching role for Botman in the short to medium term and not the long term. Someone to help him get to grips with the league.
Jones is only acceptable if it is a paired signing with Botman or another with high potential... Same with Wood. Need to gamble on some big potential to complement these sturdy purchases.
What I was told was Botman was done. Lile need a few days to get a replacement without others being aware of the fee's (think it's £40m with add-ons) they've changed goalposts 3 times and each time we have matched the upfront amount - its been the structure of the add ons that has been the sticking point. believe it to be a % of future sale rather than a % of profit of future sale.
