You really aren't. They joined 7th October 2020. Its now the 11th January 2021. If you seriously think 96 days is long enough to start turning around 14 years of Mike Ashley then I don't know what to say. At this point next year, you may have some sort of traction as they'll have had their first summer. Aside from that you just need to accept this is going to be a long process. You know when Man C appointed the senior structure that is taking them to the heights they're at now? 2012. Their takeover was in 2008. So it took them 4 yrs to get the Directors they wanted. It took them a further 4 years to get the manager they wanted. They had Mark Hughes for 18 months. And their starting point was light years ahead of ours.
A different view on this may well be that we have indeed approached teams for players - of that I have no doubt, difference is this time its us trying to kick the window into gear rather than waiting for this magic domino effect that Bruce Harped on about. Clubs need some time to line up replacements lined up for anyone we want. It's not like we're shopping for reserve players anymore or bench warmers
Downie's piped up saying "he's been told there's interest in Solanke" alongside Nketiah and Origi. Honestly, I don't know how Nickson keeps up with all these names or where he finds them. Incredible work.
Don’t confuse moaners with being real. It’s quite degrading labelling us like that. It’s like me calling you change your mind Jack. If you cover enough bases your bound to get it right. Idealistic and a pessimist. I’m not a moaner. Please don’t degrade me. Your an optimist. And have patience. That’s cool too. So when posting please remember that some of us actually care about what our personal feelings are and don’t like being judged or put into a “bracket” when it’s far more involved than that.
It’s tongue in cheek mate. A bit of comedy. You ha ha kind of stuff? What did the postman say when he ran over the Cat. Sorry Jess!
It’s not like we need players or anything. For the record I think we will beat Watford anyways. But I wouldn’t take the risk.
Depends on the line-up and formation. I know people on here don't think it matters, but I think it does and I have a weird feeling Howe's going to revert to back five, just like Rafa, just like Bruce, for fear of getting beat.
QPR striker Lyndon Dykes has attracted the interest of a number of Premier League clubs, including Newcastle, Burnley, Crystal Palace and Norwich City. Rangers and Bournemouth are also said to keen on the 26-year-old Scotland international.
I seen the Lyndon Dykes one and thought I'd had a sugar rush from eating too much Galaxy (THE MASSIVE ONE)
I reckon the Solanke link has to be BS. If we've not got £50m for someone like Schick or Izak, then I cannot see B'mouth bothering to sell him for any kind of reasonable fee. Add to that he's been utterly awful in the PL for both clubs. I don't doubt Eddie's keen, but that doesn't say much.
As long as he doesn’t come over it that’s fine by me . If he can show a few of our other targets where it is that might be helpful but beyond that he can **** off!
Nobody said we didn't have funds - Teams need to find replacements for the big name players. Ideally without the other club knowing how much we've just splurged on the player that's being replaced.
