Cheeky bid for John Stones…even on loan! If they’re hell bent on bringing a CB back in it should be a short ****ing conversation surely? For Sat I’d take Long/Wood at a push just so we have a recognised striker (Gayle is ****ing far from that imo) but before the window is out we need a recognised quality striker in the door, someone with PL experience ideally and in their mid-late 20’s. I haven’t even seen the goal or a seconds worth of footage from the defeat at the weekend, nor do I have any desire to based on what I’ve read in various places. I wouldn’t pin my hopes on Watford being any ****ter than turd division opposition this weekend or our players wanting to put things right as we’ve proven time and time again that we’re not up for any sort of fight!
