in terms of what we have at present, He'd be like a GOD. Yes he's not rapid, but neither are Tarkowski and Coady who have been linked, Think the idea is going to be a defender with pace that can go high and get back quick and one sitting slightly deeper but who is good in the air and a danger at set pieces.

Rafa is a geordie. Let's not forget he got Staveley interested in the club in the first place. I bet he's kicking himself he didn't wait 2-3 weeks more before taking the Everton job, he would have been here.
