Yes! …. and I think I’ve discovered I’m a sexist. I want the BBC to have a “Women’s Football” page that you have to click on deliberately…. rather than throwing that ****e in with the ‘proper’ game. I’m a left winger ffs (politically, not footballally)…. I’m going to hell. Getting cancelled; but I can’t help it.
The women have just mirrored the same ****e as the men.. If they tried to be different I'd find it less irritating... Say what you really think
Reports that Digne has had a change of heart with regards a move to us and we've now stolen a march over Chelsea
I think womens football is ****ing ****e, slow as a tractor, skill levels of unpicked 10 year olds, full of dropped ‘t’s, is being shoved in my face like it’s actually equivalent to mens game, everyone too scared to ask for its media noise to equate to its actual fan-popularity, should have its own pages in media that people can seek out if they want. there’s a lot of gorgeous lasses playing, but I don’t watch them for football
Too right. Is it so much to ask that you have to be interested in a sport enough to choose to read about it, rather than getting sucked in with headlines that are deliberately designed to make you think you're reading about the men's game? Same goes for the cricket, renaming batsmen etc. FFS. If you want to read about or watch women's sport, then go for it. All power to you. Just please don't change the sport that I happen to enjoy watching. On a tangentially related note, I have a mate who has cerebral palsy. One of his favourite party tricks is to ask, if women's sport should be treated equally to men's, (coverage, prize money, etc) why shouldn't disability sport also be treated the same. He doesn't actually think it should - it's just fun to watch people squirm as they try to rationalise the difference in treatment without also undermining their own arguments.
He does - particularly as he's both very obviously disabled and also one of the smartest people I know (and a complete b@stard and all). Another fun one to throw in the mix is to ask why trans athletes shouldn't be allowed to participate in women's sport if it's the same as men's. Then suggest you just have an 'Open' category of sport for men and women, and make 'low testosterone levels' one of the disability categories in the paralympics...
you’ll be telling us he’s Scottish next! Right - anyway, well I’m just very very very confused now…. I need a sit down and a transfer updates check
Digne,Botman and Vlahovic, much that I'd like them to sign but none of them want to come, just a thought.
